Only on his head

While watching "American Idol" tonight, Stevie Wonder gave a surprise performance. I thought I would take this opportunity to explain to Penelope what it means when someone is blind.
Me: "Penelope, Stevie Wonder is blind"
Penelope:  "No, only a little on his head"
Dad:  "No, Penelope, that's bald."

Of course, once I get the camera out...

So, Penelope & Saoirse were going back and forth, expertly singing "Mana Mana" from the Muppet Show.  Until I got out my phone/camera....if you stick it out to the end, you'll hear Saoirse.  Penny is a pro!

Prayer for those effected by the tsunami

Keeping our west coast friends in our thoughts - hoping their safe.  Here's this morning's conversation:

Me, to my mother:  "Did you hear what happened overnight?"
Nonna:  "No, what?"
Me:  "There was an earthquake/tsunami near Japan."
Penelope:  "Just like Hal Jordan said!"

Penelope:  "I can't believe it!  There are TWO muppets that have my uncles' names.  Rowlf & Lorenzo!"
My guess is she was referring to these guys....
 
For those of you that don't know:  My brother's name are Ralph & Lorenzo.

They are pretty excited too...
